The customer is mainly engaged in the import and export trade of automotive vehicles and parts.

 

There are a large number of automotive parts models, which are difficult to manage and prone to errors in model selection. In the event of a mistake, it could lead to delivery errors and significantly extend the delivery cycle. To address this pain point, the customer proposed developing a system for management.

Business Challenge/Solution

The system requires three roles: buyers, visitors, and back-end administrators. The main functions of the system include an official website for displaying information to visitors, an e-commerce system for buyers to place orders, and a back-end functionality for content management by administrators. A exploded diagram is needed to display the positions and numbers of the parts. Buyers can easily see the selected parts by moving the mouse over the corresponding numbers. Nova conducted research on the technology and successfully implemented this feature by mapping coordinates.

The project timeline was tight, and the customer wanted to see reporting functionality in the first phase to further analyze business trends. Nova used Ureport to develop the reporting module, saving time on report development.
