Events: Internal Evaluation Policy
The internal evaluation policy is a significant event for Nova. We polished our
policies for our internal evaluation on the in-house engineers' technical capabilities
and other skills when undertaking a project with the purpose of motivating the employees'
potentials and inspiration. As one of the most important policies of NOVA, the evaluation
policy will have significant influence on NOVA's development in the long run.
Brief Introduction to the Evaluation Policy
By setting some standards for the qualification to different technical level, all
the engineers are graded into nine technical levels. Each level has different requirements
for the engineers and different hourly rates, which directly make the engineers'
income differ from each other. For the sake of better monthly income and greater
self-achievement, engineers must do their best to make themselves qualified for
higher technical level. Also, the standards and requirements can help to supervise
whether the engineers are up to their grades or down grade.
Each employee is set to a specific technical level by the manager, according to
his educational background and programming experience. Then the next higher level
is the engineer's object that he should aim at. By this way, employees are clearer
about the direction they should strive toward very hard to make greater progress,
and throughout the progress they get good guidance and instructions.
