Nova News: A Dutch software company established strategic partnership with Nova

In February 2011, a middle-sized Dutch software company engage Nova Software as their exclusive offshore .NET center. The strategic partnership is expected to span at least 1 year.

As the initial projects only involve commonly used .NET technologies such as ASP.NET, SQL server, jQuery and Reporting service, Nova assembled a team with 1 senior project manager and two junior developers. The project manager takes on requirements analysis, task assignment and communications, while the junior developers work on the clearly defined tasks. This combination of resources proves to be a highly cost-effective solution for such projects, as the junior developer's rate is only 50% of that of an intermediate or senior developer.

To further strengthen the partnership, their CEO and CIO paid a visit to Nova in April, 2011. During the visit, they were impressed with the way how Nova kept the projects transparent and well managed for them. To expand the cooperation, they planned to outsource more mobile development to Nova in the next few months to come. The mobile development will be based on Windows Phone 7 and Andriod platforms.
